How Wallet Rewards Season 3 Works
Wallet Rewards operates around a straightforward system:
Use Wallet → earn Points → spend Points → receive rewards.
The program consists of two layers.
The first is Wallet's always-on Loyalty Program, where users can continue earning and spending Points.
The second is the seasonal competition, which adds a leaderboard and dedicated prize pool for a limited period.
Season 3 runs until October 15 at 23:59 UTC.
Importantly, Points do not expire when the season ends. Wallet says users can retain their Points and continue exchanging them for available rewards.
Sapphire, Topaz and Ruby Boxes Return
One of the main features of Wallet Rewards is the ability to exchange Points for reward Boxes.
Three familiar tiers are available:
Sapphire: 100 Points — rewards worth up to $5
Topaz: 500 Points — rewards worth up to $50
Ruby: 5,000 Points — rewards worth up to $500
Wallet says Boxes are available in limited quantities and can be restocked during the season.
Rewards can vary depending on the Box and availability.
Wallet's official Telegram announcement lists assets including LIT, ADI, Gold, tokenized stocks and ETFs among the rewards available through the Box system.
Telegram Stars Join the Reward System
Season 3 expands what users can receive through Wallet Rewards.
Telegram Stars are now included among the possible rewards available through the Points system.
Stars are Telegram's in-app digital currency used for services such as digital goods, subscriptions and other features across Telegram's ecosystem.
Wallet's official FAQ says reward Boxes can contain:
Crypto assets, Points, Mira AI subscriptions or Telegram Stars.
If a Box contains Telegram Stars, users are asked to provide the recipient's Telegram username.
This gives Wallet users another way to use rewards directly within Telegram rather than receiving only crypto-related assets.
How Users Earn Points
Users do not need to separately enroll before beginning to accumulate Points.
According to Wallet, eligible activity automatically generates Points.
For spot trading, users receive 1 Point for every $10 swapped through Wallet.
For perpetuals trading, users receive 5 Points for every $100 in trading volume across supported crypto, stocks, ETFs, metals and commodities.
Eligible referrals can generate 90 Points, plus 20% of the Points generated by invited users.
Referral availability varies by region.
Wallet can also introduce temporary Point multipliers for specific activities.
Users can monitor available tasks and their Point history through the Rewards section.
Season 3 Includes $500,000 in Rewards
Wallet has allocated a combined $500,000 to Season 3.
The reward pool is divided between two systems.
$300,000 is allocated to Boxes, allowing users to spend Points and receive rewards without needing to finish at the top of the leaderboard.
Another $200,000 is allocated to the Season 3 leaderboard.
Users need at least 1,000 Points to qualify for the leaderboard competition.
Spending Points on Boxes does not reduce a user's leaderboard score. Rankings are calculated from the total number of Points earned during the season.
First Place Receives $50,000
The Season 3 leaderboard adds another incentive beyond opening Boxes.
The first-place participant receives $50,000, while the remainder of the top 10 receive prizes ranging from $500 to $10,000.
Participants ranked 11th through 100th receive $300 each, while positions 101 through 500 receive $100.
Wallet is also giving participants outside the top 500 another opportunity.
Users who earn at least 1,000 Points but do not finish inside the top 500 can enter a weighted prize draw.
Another 500 participants will receive $100 each through that system.
The more Points a qualifying user earns, the greater their weight in the draw.
Boxes Don't Affect Leaderboard Rankings
One important part of the system is that users do not have to choose between spending Points and protecting their leaderboard position.
Wallet calculates leaderboard rankings using the total number of Points earned, not the user's remaining balance.
For example, someone who earns 5,000 Points and then spends those Points on a Ruby Box still has 5,000 Points counted toward their seasonal ranking.
That separates the spending side of Wallet Rewards from the competitive leaderboard.
Rewards Expand Beyond Crypto Tokens
Season 3 also reflects Wallet's broader expansion beyond basic cryptocurrency transfers.
The platform now supports exposure to different financial products and digital services through its reward system.
Depending on the specific Box or reward mechanism, users can receive assets such as ADI or LIT, tokenized stocks, Telegram Stars and other available prizes.
Wallet has also introduced Mira, an AI agent operating inside Telegram, with a limited Mira Box available during Season 3.
This creates a rewards system increasingly connected to Telegram's broader ecosystem rather than functioning solely as a cryptocurrency promotion.
How to Check Your Points
Users can check their current balance directly through the Rewards section inside Crypto Wallet.
The section displays available tasks, Point balances, transaction history, Boxes and leaderboard information.
Wallet also shows Box availability because quantities can be limited.
Users who already trade or perform other qualifying actions may therefore have accumulated Points automatically without actively participating in the leaderboard.
Participation and individual rewards can vary by region, verification status and other eligibility requirements.
What Happens After Season 3?
Season 3 ends on October 15, 2026 at 23:59 UTC, but Wallet Rewards itself will continue.
Wallet says Points do not expire at the end of a season.
The Loyalty Program remains active, allowing users to keep their existing Points and exchange them for available rewards later.
Season 3 leaderboard rewards are scheduled to begin distribution after the competition closes, subject to eligibility and any required verification.
Wallet also says additional Box types and ways to earn Points are under development.
Bottom Line
Telegram's Crypto Wallet has launched Wallet Rewards Season 3, running from September 16 through October 15 with a combined $500,000 reward pool.
Users can earn Points through eligible spot trading, perpetuals activity and referrals, then exchange those Points for reward Boxes.
The three main tiers are Sapphire at 100 Points, Topaz at 500 Points and Ruby at 5,000 Points, offering rewards worth up to $5, $50 and $500 respectively.
Season 3 also expands the program beyond traditional crypto rewards by adding options including Telegram Stars, while a separate $200,000 leaderboard pool gives qualifying participants another way to earn prizes.
For Telegram's crypto ecosystem, the program represents another attempt to connect trading, digital assets and Telegram-native services within a single Wallet experience.
