Wallet expands its Perpetuals lineup
Wallet is expanding the range of assets available for perpetual trading with the addition of WEN, FOLKS and CAP.
The three assets represent very different areas of the market, giving traders more options beyond the heavily watched AI and major-cryptocurrency narratives.
The new perpetual contracts are now available in the Perpetuals section in Wallet, with leverage of up to 10x for WEN and 3x for FOLKS and CAP.
As leveraged products can amplify both gains and losses, traders should consider volatility and liquidation risk before opening positions.
WEN brings a traditional consumer-market asset
WEN represents Wendy's, the international fast-food company.
The addition gives Wallet users exposure to a traditional consumer-focused asset alongside cryptocurrency-related markets. Unlike crypto projects, a company such as Wendy's is influenced by factors including consumer spending, operating performance, economic conditions and broader equity-market sentiment.
WEN perpetuals offer up to 10x leverage, making it the highest-leverage asset among the three new additions.
The different market drivers also mean WEN can behave differently from crypto-native assets during periods of changing market sentiment.
FOLKS adds DeFi exposure
FOLKS is the native token of Folks Finance, a crosschain decentralized finance protocol focused on lending, borrowing and digital-asset management.
Folks Finance describes FOLKS as the native asset powering the protocol, with utilities including governance, ecosystem participation and other protocol-related functions.
The protocol operates across multiple blockchain networks and focuses on crosschain DeFi infrastructure, giving FOLKS exposure to a sector that extends beyond a single blockchain ecosystem.
Wallet now offers FOLKS perpetuals with up to 3x leverage.
CAP focuses on stablecoin and yield markets
CAP is associated with Cap, a decentralized stablecoin protocol built around cUSD and the yield-bearing stcUSD.
Cap says cUSD is a dollar-denominated stablecoin backed by a basket of stablecoin assets, while stcUSD is designed to generate yield through the protocol's network of operators and lending mechanisms.
The protocol's model combines stablecoin liquidity with yield generation and financial guarantees, creating a different market narrative from conventional DeFi lending tokens.
CAP perpetuals are available with up to 3x leverage.
Three assets, three different market narratives
The latest additions give traders exposure to three distinct categories:
Asset | Sector | Maximum leverage |
|---|
WEN | Consumer / traditional markets | 10x |
FOLKS | Decentralized finance | 3x |
CAP | Stablecoin / DeFi yield | 3x |
This diversification means traders can potentially take positions based on different market drivers rather than relying on a single crypto narrative.
However, different sectors also carry different risks. Consumer equities can react to economic data and company performance, DeFi tokens can be affected by liquidity and protocol developments, while stablecoin-related projects face risks associated with smart contracts, collateral and market structure.
Wallet continues expanding trading options
The addition of WEN, FOLKS and CAP expands the range of markets available through Wallet's Perpetuals section.
The move gives TON users access to assets spanning traditional consumer markets, DeFi and stablecoin-focused protocols, alongside existing crypto markets.
WEN, FOLKS and CAP are now available in Wallet Perpetuals, with leverage of up to 10x for WEN and 3x for FOLKS and CAP.
Traders should remember that perpetual contracts are leveraged instruments and can result in substantial losses, including liquidation, if the market moves against a position.
