Foreword: Season 7 is Here!

The Open League's Beta Season kicked off in March 2024 with big goals: to boost TON’s core ecosystem projects and assets, while fostering the growth of new applications, DeFi protocols, Games, NFTs, SocialFi, and Utility apps.

The Growth of TON Apps: A Big Win!

The number of apps in the App League has skyrocketed from 20 to 83 teams! These talented developers attracted nearly 4 million unique on-chain users in the last season – that's phenomenal growth!

DeFi Boom: Growing Faster Than Ever!

TON’s DeFi ecosystem has exploded since early 2024. While the year began with only a handful of protocols like DeDust, Storm Trade, Evaa, STON.fi, Tonstakers, and bemo, we now boast over 30 DeFi projects on Defillama.

Eight standout teams, including STON.fi, DeDust, Evaa, Storm, Tradoor, Hipo, Tonstakers, and bemo, have shown incredible performance, winning more than $2 million in prizes and earning "DeFi League Graduate" status. These teams are now on a special incentive track and no longer compete in the DeFi League.

Focus on Emerging DeFi Projects: Season 7

Since Season 6, the DeFi League has placed its focus on early-stage projects with high growth potential. Teams like Parraton, TON Hedge, and SettleTON have already shown impressive growth, and we're expecting 10+ new protocols to join the competition in Season 7.

What About Users? They’re Engaged Like Never Before!

Season 6 saw users go above and beyond in farming airdrops and earning rewards by providing liquidity on DEXs. A total of 2 million airdrop participation badges were minted, showing strong engagement with ecosystem products.

Additionally, 2,000 users received the Degen airdrop, while 20,000 wallets actively participated in DeFi during the Normie airdrop. But we're just getting started – we aim to drive even more adoption in 2024!

Time to Go FULL DeFi in Season 7!

The focus for Season 7 will be on DeFi:

• A massive $1.5 million airdrop for users.

• A healthy and competitive environment for young DeFi projects.

• Exploring new DeFi protocols and earning rewards for on-chain contributions.

So, let’s leave the App and NFT Leagues on a break this time and go all-in on DeFi!

The $1,500,000 New Year Airdrop for Users

In Season 7, TON users can participate in the New Year Airdrop by actively engaging with DeFi protocols on the TON blockchain.

To participate:

• 1. Obtain your DeFi Badge on the TON Society website.

• 2. Grow your DeFi Score by interacting with DeFi protocols listed in the TON DeFi Catalog.

• 3. Earn points for target actions such as providing liquidity or trading. Each action contributes points based on the minimum thresholds defined per project.

The full catalog of participating projects and point allocation will be listed on the airdrop page of the TON Society website once the campaign begins.

Leaderboard & Rewards:

• Check your DeFi Score in real time on the user leaderboard throughout the season.

• At the end of the season, the minimum eligibility score will be announced, and eligible wallets will receive rewards based on their final score.

DeFi League: TVL Squad & Volume Squad for TON Projects

In Season 7, the DeFi League will continue to provide a platform for early-stage projects to grow their TVL (Total Value Locked) and Volume on the TON blockchain.

• TVL Squad: For projects focused on growing total value locked.
• 
  
• Volume Squad: For projects driving high trading volume.

Projects that meet the eligibility criteria can participate in one or both squads. Rankings will be based on their performance in growing TVL and Volume.

Prizes:

• Top-performing teams will share a $100,000 reward pool in Adsgram credits.

• Teams that graduate from the DeFi League will also receive coverage for their audit costs at the end of the season.

How to Apply?

• Returning Teams: If your team participated in previous seasons and has not yet graduated, you are automatically whitelisted for Season 7. Make sure to check the eligibility criteria to ensure you remain on the leaderboard.

• New Teams: If your team has not participated before, we welcome you to apply via TONResearch.

Application Deadlines:

• Applications for Projects: Open now until November 22.

• Season 7 Starts: November 27, running until December 17.
